Dr. Mohamed Madkour

Dr. Mohamed Madkour is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Wireless Product Solutions organization at Huawei Technologies USA. In his role, Madkour has two distinct areas of responsibility. He is responsible for the wireless product solutions strategy, branding, key messages and value proposition. In addition, he drives the company’s thought leadership and industry engagements in the U.S. As the wireless product solutions sales platform team leader, he is helping Huawei develop its wireless business by working closely with different market units.

Madkour is a thought leader in the wireless communications space with more than 15 years of experience. Over the past 7 years, Madkour’s focus has been on building an agnostic technology, user-centric and profitable mobile broadband business.

Since joining Huawei in 2007, Madkour has held a number of leadership roles in wireless marketing, product management and solution sales. Prior to joining Huawei, Madkour held a number of positions in the telecommunications industry as well as in academia including Ericsson, Artel, Southern Methodist University, and Alexandria University.

Madkour holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas. He is the author and co-author of two patents, and several papers in IEEE journals and international conferences.
